Our team is dedicated to obtaining the best solution for your needs and budget.  Ocean Tech offers installation of power systems, electrical distribution equipment as well as complete electrical surveys that determine needed repairs, modifications, rewiring or upgrades. Our electrical capabilities include installing and checking ship’s cabling, controllers, switchboards, equipment, communications, telephones, and metering. We also remove, repair, reinstall, and perform operational testing of electronic systems and equipment. As well we work with shipboard power distribution, radar and communications systems, copper wire and fiber optic repairs and installation. HABITABILITY BERTHING,GALLEY, AND LAUNDRY MODERNIZATION:

 Ocean Tech Services’ ship habitability and support services are centered around providing a quality product with strict attention to detail. As part of its ongoing shipboard installation and maintenance service to the U.S. Navy , Ocean Tech performs habitability upgrades and accomplishing modifications to electrical, mechanical, berthing, galley and HVAC systems for all shipboard spaces. With a tremendous sheet metal capability Ocean Tech can manufacture furnishings, fixtures, ventilation, and sleeping surfaces and lockers. We also provide turn-key installation services.

MACHINING:

With access to a fully capable CNC machine shop we can manufacture components from one unique part to thousands of repetitive pieces .

MECHANICAL :

We offer optical alignment checks of propulsion shaft bearings to reduction gears, shaft straightness evaluations for vibration analysis, and prop change-outs. Our mechanics are skilled in pump and valve overhaul, repair of main machinery, propulsion, and auxiliary systems.

PREFABRICATION:
Our fabrication resources include a significant capability in prefabricating steel and aluminum structures, tanks and vessels for a wide variety of applications. We also have the capability to manufacture a wide range of sheetmetal lockers, bunks, cabinets, ventilation ducting as well as piping and electrical pre-assemblies.

Our Fabrication Shop specializes in all types of welding such as mig, tig, stick and submerged arc. We are ABS certified for steel and aluminum welding. We can fabricate just about any custom part out of any alloy based on a drawing or sample component. Our shop is capable of boring, drilling, broaching, turning, milling, threading (US and Metric), and designing any of your custom machine needs. We machine aluminum, bronze, brass, delrin, stainless steel, and titanium.

SMALL BOAT REPAIR:

Ocean Tech is fully capable of providing a broad spectrum of small boat repair, maintenance, and modernization services. With access to a fully facilitized yard which provides us the ability to lift and dock any size small boat and perform hull, deck, and other husbandry services.
